The JS Tooling Stationary Assembly and Tack Welding Fixture is specifically designed for the assembly and tack welding of combine harvester feeder housing assemblies, delivering exceptional dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and operator safety throughout the manufacturing process.
Developed to meet the demanding requirements of agricultural equipment manufacturers, the fixture ensures precise alignment of structural components while minimizing process variation and improving the overall quality of the finished assembly. Its ergonomic design enhances operator comfort while optimizing production flow and reducing cycle times.
The system incorporates both mechanical and hydraulic actuation, combined with dual-hand safety controls, providing complete operational control throughout the assembly process. Six independently controlled movable clamping stations allow selective operation, providing greater flexibility for positioning and securing components.
For maximum reliability, the fixture is equipped with a 20-liter hydraulic power unit, with each hydraulic actuator secured by pilot-operated check valves and individually monitored through pressure switches. A quick-change setup system featuring adjustable linear guide rails enables fast and accurate changeovers between different product models, significantly reducing setup time.
The automation system is integrated through an electrical control panel designed in compliance with applicable OSHA machine safety regulations, ANSI B11 machine safety standards, and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements. A 7-inch Human-Machine Interface (HMI) provides intuitive machine operation and real-time process monitoring. For additional operator protection, the system includes a safety laser scanner that continuously monitors the operating area.
